"To be an artist is to believe in life" – Henry Moore In these difficult times, when the cannons are heard, art continues to be created by artists who express their feelings through their work in response to the situation; serving as a healing process, the artistic process offering an escape for both artists and viewers.
The exhibition "A Glimpse into Art" showcases the richness of Israeli art in all its diversity. It offers artists a central platform by highlighting images that reflect their personal concerns and inner world, addressing issues such as sustainability, gender, family, and society. The exhibition provides a space for individual artists to convey contemporary messages that reflect, through their work, both Israeli and global culture.
The displayed images were created using various techniques, from classical sculpture and painting to mixed media with innovative and modern materials, including elements that are integral to our lives, as well as the use of current technology.
Each artwork draws from a cultural context, and from a slew of different voices of artists, all weaved into the exhibition, offering viewers unique perspectives and an immersive experience, allowing them to engage with the creative process and explore ways to cope with the complex realities both within and beyond us.
